Article 1

Only staff and students of Istituto Italo-Cinese are allowed to enter the Library. For others who intend to enter the Library, approval of the librarian is necessary.

Article 2

The librarian reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone deemed unfit by demeanor or conduct.

Article 3

Student or staff card needs to be presented before entering the Library, except for the Librarian’s permission.

Article 4

Student or staff cards are personal and individual. They may not be transferred to, or used on behalf of other persons.

Article 5

The person, who is aware that the student or staff card has been lost, stolen or used by another person, shall notify the Library immediately.

Article 6

Bags are not allowed to be brought into the Library.

Article 7

Wet umbrellas may not be brought into the Library.

Article 8

Anything that may cause damage to the books and facilities in the Library cannot be brought into the Library.

Article 9

Users are required to behave considerately and to respect the study needs of others.

Article 10

Users should keep silent in the Library. The studying and reading area cannot be used for discussions, conversations, or meetings.

Article 11

Mobile devices shall be used only in silent mode in the Library. The use of headphones is allowed but the volume should be such that there is no noise leakage.

Article 12

Personal belongings should not be left unattended or used to reserve study places. Librarian may remove books and other personal items that have been left for more than one hour. Non-valuables left unclaimed for a length of time will be disposed of. Food and drink will be instantly discarded.

Article 13

The Library takes no responsibility for the security of personal belongings. Users should take care of their belongings at all times.

Article 14

Users must not mark, deface, damage or destroy any Library resources or property.

Article 15

Smoking in the Library is prohibited.

Article 16

Eating is not allowed in the Library. No colored drinks or odorous food may be brought into the Library.

Article 17

Library areas are not used for sleeping or living quarters. Equipment including sleeping bags, and furniture arrangements designed for sleeping are not permitted.

Article 18

Users are expected to dispose of their own litter in the bins provided.

Article 19

Photography and filming in the Library are allowed only with prior permission from the Librarian.

Article 20

Distribution of leaflets and displays of posters are forbidden without permission of the Librarian. Unauthorized material will be removed.

Article 21

Users must comply with all regulations.
